Indecisiveness
Have you ever wondered about why some people find it just so hard to make decisions on certain things.. or on anything at all :P
I'm sure everyone had experienced, a couple of times in their lives, situations when they just can't decide on anything... whether it's on what to eat, what to wear, where to go, who to be friends with, what to buy .. and many more.. why is it so??
Let me share with you my personal reasonings why indecision sometimes get the better of us. Among the possible reasons for indecisions are:
- thinking too much about it
- wanting to do more than you can cope
- disorganised personality
- trying to be too perfect
- afraid of imperfections
- afraid of making mistakes
- dependency on other people to decide
- lack of confidence
- or some just don't bother with decisions!!
I'm sure there are may other possible reasons for indecision.. but at the end of the day.. making decisions on what ever course is about how you see yourself taking responsibility for that decision.. and it is also how you predict that the outcome of that decision will be the utmost benefits to everyone..
Decision is about making a choice.. whether it will be the right choice or otherwise.. will depend on how you derive your decision... Of course, there is no guarantee that whatever you decide on will always come out perfect.. there are always other external factors that may influence the outcome of your decisions..
But rather than pondering what might happen and what could happen if you decide this way or that way.. don't you think it would be better to actually see and feel the outcome of your decisions.. I've always believe, life is about taking risks.. some calculated risks.. and some just wild risks.. making mistakes is what turn us into a much better person.. don't think about the mistakes you've done.. but rather learn from it..and strive to improve..
So are you ready to be independent and make decisions for yourself.. try it.. and you'll know.. practice makes perfect!!
